With his beautiful vocal timbre and commanding stage presence, Alex has appeared in a wide array of operas and other classical works over the years. His most recent performances include his involvement as a chorister in the summer 2024 season at Cincinnati Opera (Don Giovanni, La Traviata, Liverpool Oratorio). Other performances in recent years include Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music’s staged production of Poulenc’s “Dialogues des Carmelites” as L’Aumonier, as well as his recent involvement in Opera Fusion: New Works (sponsored by Cincinnati Opera) workshop of composer Missy Mazzoli’s “Lincoln in the Bardo” based on the novel written by George Saunders. Other notable roles include Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Younger Jim Thompson (Glory Denied) as well Albert Herring (Albert Herring) with Ball State University Opera Theater during his undergraduate degree. He has also performed as a soloist in Johann Sebastian Bach’s “St Matthew’s Passion” and “Magnificat” with the University of Cincinnati Chamber Choir and Philharmonia. Alex has recently graduated with his Masters in Music Performance at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music in 2024. He has also received his Bachelors in Music degree at Ball State University in the spring of 2022.
